dc.descriptionAcne is a highly prevalent chronic inflammatory skin condition that mainly affects adolescents and young adults, causing permanent atrophic scarring in a significant percentage of cases. These sequelae represent a significant aesthetic and psychological problem, as they negatively impact patients' self-esteem, body image, and quality of life. In recent years, microneedling has emerged as a minimally invasive enlargement technique, considered effective in progressively stimulating skin regeneration through the induction of neocollagenesis. Complementarily, each of the recombinant enzymes, such as collagenase and hyaluronidase, respectively, have played a significant role in the proper remodeling of the extracellular matrix. The objective of this research study was to analyze the effectiveness and corresponding safety of a comprehensive approach involving the application of microneedling and the incorporation of recombinant enzymes in different patients with acne scars, based on scientific evidence presented over the last five years. A literature review of scientific articles indexed in recognized databases was conducted. The results show significant improvements in skin texture, depth, and appearance, with a favorable safety profile. It is concluded that this comprehensive approach serves as a promising therapeutic alternative in the field of comprehensive aesthetics.
dc.description.abstractacné es una patología dermatológica inflamatoria crónica altamente prevalente que afecta principalmente a adolescentes y adultos jóvenes, generando en un porcentaje significativo de casos cicatrices atróficas permanentes. Estas secuelas representan un problema estético y psicológico relevante, ya que impactan negativamente en la autoestima, la percepción corporal y la calidad de vida de los pacientes. En los años precedentes, el denominado microneedling ha emanado como una técnica de ampliación mínimamente invasiva, se considera eficaz en el objetivo de estimular progresivamente regeneración dérmica mediante la incorporacion de la inducción de neocolagénesis respectivamente. De modo complementario, cada una de las enzimas recombinantes, como por ejemplo la colagenasa y respectivamente la hialuronidasa, han denotado un papel trascendental en la correcta remodelación de la matriz extracelular. El objetivo del presente estudio investigativo fue analizar la efectividad y correspondiente seguridad del abordaje integral con la aplicación de microneedling e incorporación de enzimas recombinantes en diferentes pacientes con presencia de cicatrices de acné, mediante la evidencia científica expuesta alrededor de los últimos cinco años. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de artículos científicos indexados en bases de datos reconocidas. Los resultados evidencian mejoras significativas en la textura, profundidad y apariencia cutánea, con un perfil de seguridad favorable. Se concluye que el presente abordaje integral funge como una alternativa de carácter terapéutica prometedora inmersa en el campo de la estética integral.
