Abstract
Description
The orange economy has been established as a development driver based on creativity, talent, and the transformation of ideas into goods and services with cultural and symbolic value. This study aims to analyze the application of the orange economy in aesthetic centers in the city of Riobamba and its influence on added value generation, innovation, and business competitiveness. It was developed under a qualitative approach, with a non-experimental design and descriptive scope, using techniques such as documentary review, environmental analysis, direct observation, and semi-structured interviews. The results show that the integration of creative, cultural, and technological elements makes it possible to differentiate services, improve the customer experience, and strengthen market positioning. However, limitations related to the low level of knowledge, low investment in innovation, and lack of business training were identified. It is concluded that the orange economy represents an effective strategy for the sustainable growth of this sector, which is why strengthening training and institutional support is required.
Orange Economy applied to comprehensive aesthetics in Ecuador relates to the transformation of beauty services, personal image, and well-being into creative activities with cultural, artistic, and commercial value.
It is not just about “performing aesthetic treatments,” but about turning creativity, image, design, and customer experience into a source of innovation and entrepreneurship.
