Abstract
In this academic essay, a bibliographic review was carried out justifying the use of a plant, a natural product, such as Chilca (Baccharis latifolia) in the form of a cream to treat rheumatic pain, joint pain and trauma; These conditions tend to occur frequently and therefore constitute health problems; On the other hand, the use of a plant product is an advantage over other animal or synthetic products that may represent a danger to human health.

En este ensayo académico se realizó una revisión bibliográfica donde se justifica el uso de una planta, un producto natural, como es la Chilca (Baccharis latifolia) en forma de crema para tratar dolores reumáticos, articulares y traumas; dichas afecciones suelen presentarse con frecuencia y constituyen por esto problemas de salud; por otra parte, la utilización de un producto vegetal es una ventaja ante otros productos animales o sintéticos que puede representar un peligro para la salud humana.
