| dc.description | Moxibustion therapy has been considered a traditional technique of Chinese origin that is It is based on the stimulation of certain points of the body with the heat generated by the combustion of an herb mugwort vulgaris. Its main objective is to determine the effectiveness of this practice in reducing or eliminating pain in patients who experimental chemotherapy processes. Through therapeutic practice, cigarettes or moxas and through direct and indirect techniques the body is stimulated to improve the state or flow of qi, that is, the vital force that permeates the body and therefore relieves ailments presenting to the patient. As an expected result, it can be concluded that the Moxibustion is a useful therapy in the treatment of people's symptoms. who have a recurring ailment or type of inflammation. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La terapia de moxibustion se ha considerado una técnica tradicional de origen chino que se basa en la estimulación de determinados puntos del cuerpo con el calor generado por la combustión de una hierba artemisa vulgaris. Su principal objetivo es determinar la efectividad de dicha práctica en la disminución o eliminación del dolor en pacientes que experimentan procesos de quimioterapia. Mediante la práctica terapéutica se usan cigarros o moxas y por medio de técnicas ya sea directas e indirecta se estimula al cuerpo a mejorar el estado o flujo de qi, es decir, la fuerza vital que impregna el cuerpo y por ende aliviar las dolencias que presente el paciente. Como resultado esperado se puede concluir que la moxibustión son una terapéutica útil en el tratamiento de la sintomatología de las personas que tienen una dolencia o un tipo de inflamación recurrente. | |
