dc.descriptionThe present work analyzes the use of moxibustion as an alternative asthma therapy, where it is The technique is seen as a modality of traditional Chinese medicine, which has spread to several continents. In this case, moxibustion uses moxa as a heat source, to later apply it to selected points of the subject with the aim of treating diseases as is the case of asthma by reducing its exacerbations. Therefore, we will identify the importance of the use of moxibustion in asthma, justifying this technique with the benefits appreciated in several Clinical studies. General objective: Identify the use of moxibustion as an alternative asthma therapy. Methodology: A bibliographic review was carried out resulting from the consultation of scientific articles referring to the topic in databases such as: Web of Science, PubMed, Redalyc, scielo and Scopus. Expected results: This bibliographic review aims to recognize the importance of the use of moxibustion as an alternative therapy for asthma, to establish its effectiveness with an ancestral and medical judgment.
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo analiza el uso del moxibustión como terapia alternativa del asma, en donde esta técnica se objetivisa como una modalidad de la medicina tradicional China, que se ha ido extendido a varios continentes. En tal caso el moxibustión utiliza como fuente de calor la moxa, para posteriormente aplicarlo en puntos seleccionados del sujeto con el objetivo de tratar enfermedades como es el caso del asma al disminuir sus exacerbaciones. Por lo tanto, identificaremos la importancia del uso del moxibustión en el asma, justificando esta técnica con los beneficios apreciados en varios estudios clínicos. Objetivo general: Identificar el uso del moxibustión como terapia alternativa del asma. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica resultante de la consulta de artículos científicos referentes al tema en las bases de datos como: Web of Science, PubMed, Redalyc, scielo y Scopus. Resultados esperados: La presente revisión bibliográfica pretende reconocer la importancia del uso del moxibustión como terapia alternativa para el asma, para establecer de esta manera su efectividad con un juicio ancestral y médico.
