The objective was to determine the effectiveness of energy therapies in adolescent patients aged 15 to 19 years with stress disorders, through the application of trapped emotions unblocking therapy and dowsing. The sample consisted of 10 patients. The therapeutic scheme of unlocking emotions, dowsing, music therapy and aromatherapy was applied. In the sample studied, the average age was 16.9 years; female sex, urban origin and anxiety attacks predominated. The treatment was evaluated as Satisfactory in the largest number of cases and is statistically supported.

Cuenca / 2022(ISTMAS, 2022-11-08) Herrera Lozano, Leocadia Elizabeth; Orellana, PatriciaThe present academic research document has two points as its final purpose, the first one consists of promptly inquiring deeply about the climacteric syndrome, passing a review of its symptoms, causes, diagnosis, etc., the second point being to carry out the elaboration of a totally natural drink without the presence of synthetic ingredients, specifically we talk about the natural soy milk drink, from its elaboration, to the adequate form of its consumption in order to alleviate the symptoms caused by climacteric syndrome, using methods through alternative medicine by taking advantage of the benefits of soy milk as an adjuvant, in this research we worked with a sample of 10 women, patients from the Corazón de Jesús neighborhood, belonging to the San Sebastián parish, in the city of Cuenca , between 40 and 50 years old, who presented climacteric symptoms. Having as a result that the symptoms of the 10 women treated with soy milk were attenuated by 80%, for which it was necessary to design the appropriate planning for its administration, taking control and weekly follow-up to verify its evolution. However, it is important to mention that in this work it will present relevant data, with the purpose of serving as a basis for new related research. Finally, it is concluded that the elaboration of soy milk was highly positive, because through the ingestion of the drink, in this transition stage for women, it gave a beneficial turn in the face of climacteric syndrome.

In this investigation developed as a quasi-experimental study and whose general objective was to verify the effectiveness of Auriculotherapy in adolescents with anxiety disorders, a sample of 31 patients between the ages of 13 and 18, who attended the medical consultation, was managed. and who showed anxiety disorders, accompanied by symptoms such as: insomnia, sadness and fear, which were treated with this therapy, performing an evaluation before and after treatment. This study was carried out in adolescents who frequently presented anxiety symptoms, prevailing the female sex and the procedure was evaluated as good in the greatest number of cases

In the past, overweight was determined by the Broca index. First it was calculated. the ideal weight of a person according to their height. From the difference between the actual weight and the ideal weight was diagnosed as overweight or underweight Overweight has also been considered as a weight of 10 to 20% greater than the height in centimeters. Considering as an ideal weight, a weight less than 10% in men and 15% in women in relation to height However, a person's body weight depends on their fat mass, bone mass, weight in muscle and weight in water, so the most recommended is to go to a doctor specialized in nutrition who indicates your state of health regarding weight. Imbabura / 2023(ISTMAS, 2023-09-14) Sánchez Potosí, Catherine Carolina; Salguero Rosero, RuthThe objective of this research is to analyze the effects of auriculotherapy in the treatment of obesity in patients between 26 and 40 years of age from the parish of San Antonio de Ibarra, and to compare the effects of this technique to improve the Body Mass Index, waist circumference and thigh circumference in order to contribute to the knowledge of this alternative treatment technique using seed-based energy pellets in the ear at specific points for weight loss. The study had a qualitative and quantitative approach, descriptive narrative level, pre-experimental design, which was carried out using a scale to measure the degree of overweight of the 20 patients who visited the San Antonio de Ibarra Economic Pharmacy, in the province of Imbabura. Information was collected through the application of clinical histories that include the disease history of each patient, the 20 medical histories were reported by each patient according to their ailments and discomforts that they present due to the issue of obesity. The set covers a wide variety of obesity symptoms due to the working day, household chores and the environment in which they operate. Among the main findings of this study are the effects of obesity and the application of traditional Chinese medicine through auriculotherapy, this being a contribution to weight control of each of the patients reviewed.
